DENIM + Selvedge Denim.

about our fabrics

Denim + Selvedge denim owes its durability to the tightly woven fabric produced by shuttle looms, which is stronger than other modern weaving methods. Selvedge Demin derives its name from the "self-edge," the neatly finished edges that don't fray (usually the red bit!)This unique feature eliminates the need to finish the side seams of Jeans made from Selvedge Denim.

The denim will develop fading and creases based on your movements and what you carry in your pockets, while also softening and conforming to your body for a personalized fit.

Where we source or obtain our Denim.

As our Denim or Selvedge Denim garments are made to order or customer request we shop locally, using prestigious fabric retailer Cloth House. They source most of their denim straight from the source in Japan. Allowing us to create our garments in the best possible denim each and every time.

Our Denim CARE GUIDE

We believe that taking good care of our clothes is the most sustainable option, giving Garments a longer life.

- Preferably wash by hand, using cold or lukewarm water.

- Treat any stains before washing the full piece.
- Remove from the washing machine as soon as the program finishes to avoid creasing.
- Air dry inside out, preferably with less direct exposure to the sun.
- Before washing it, take a moment to reflect if you can skip this step and just air the denim garment instead.
- Use a gentle clothing/fabric brush to help remove any lingering dirt or dust.
