Care Guide.

Make it last longer.

We chose our materials carefully to have the lowest environmental and social impact + the best product for you to use day in, day out.

However, it is equally important to make the right after-care decisions to extend the life of your product and keep its quality over time.

USE COLD WATER.

Hot water cycles use 75% more energy + are more like to break down dyes + cause shrinkage………

Using Colder Cycles saves money + extends the durability of your clothes!

WASH LESS.

Many times you can skip a cycle just by airing out your clothes. Especially with materials such as Wool + Denim.

You can then accumulate more clothes + fill your washing machine, helping you to lower energy + water usage.

air DRY YOUR GARMENTS.

Hang your clothes on a rack + remember to hang delicate and colored clothes inside out, so they don’t bleach from the sun.

Use the correct detergents.

Avoid products that contain phthalates, phosphates, non-biodegradable surfectants, sulfates, or chlorine.

Doing this will make your wash healthier for your skin + the planet. We recommend every single product from Attire Care

FOLLOW THE CARE LABEL.

The Label is right!

We know because we created your garment in house + know each material we are using, every time.

Steam or iron at a lower temperature.

If needed, we recommend steaming over ironing, as it's gentler for the fabric fibers.

Most of our garments won’t need ironing if you wash them on a lower cycle and gently shake or stretch them when they come out of the washing machine + hang the garment to dry. But a gentle steaming will help soften the garment again ready for wearing.

The dreaded stain…

If you get a stain on your garment, treat the spot immediately.

Natural materials such as cotton, linen + wool generally absorb a lot which means that the longer you wait, the harder it gets to eliminate the stain. We again recommend this product from Attire Care
