Rayon / Viscose.

about our fabrics

Rayon is a fiber from regenerated cellulose, generally derived from wood pulp. Rayon is usually made from eucalyptus trees, but any plant can be used (such as bamboo, soy, cotton, etc).

Its creation is similar therefore to Tencel/Lyocell although with a darker and less transparent history, many brands have turned their back on using Rayon altogether. But it must be said now it is much easier to trace the process of creating Rayon.

Where we source or obtain our Rayon.

All of our Rayon Fabrics are once again sourced from Korea. From the same Manufacturer as our Tencel/Lyocell.

They are all Certified; Global Recycling Standards, Organic 100 and GOTS.

Our Rayon CARE GUIDE

We believe that taking good care of our clothes is the most sustainable option, giving Garments a longer life.

- Delicate wash cycle only with Cold or Cool water.

- Don’t wring out a Rayon garment as it can tear while it’s wet. Instead, hang your rayon garments to dry if at all possible.

- Low Heat Ironing to remove any creases or a quick steam will also do the trick.
