100% wool.

about our fabrics

100% Wool Or Pure Wool as it is sometimes known simply means or signifies that The Wool is not mixed with any other fibre. The structure and drape of pure wool are normally very soft and flowy as seen in High-End Tailoring.

Whilst wool can help keep you warm when it is cold outside, it can also cool you down when you get too hot. It is the temperature regulating properties of the wool that mean it can be used in warmer temperatures too. Additionally, wool is moisture absorbing and will keep you dry, even when you are wet from sweat. So, ignore the myth that says wool can only be used during the winter; you can wear it all-year round.

Where we source or obtain our wool.

All of our wools are once again sourced from Korea or a few select fabric shops in London.

As we are Made to Order only we cannot hold rolls of stock material ready there ‘hoping for orders’. We buy small where we can and even better so when we visit the Fabric Shops in London and beyond are always in for a small surprise purchase too that we hope our customers will love as much as us.

Our Wool CARE GUIDE

We believe that taking good care of our clothes is the most sustainable option, giving Garments a longer life.

Many people believe that wool items are difficult to wash and fear the day their favourite woolen sweater shrinks to size XXS, but actually, it isn’t that difficult to deal with wool.

- Wash by Hand in Cold or Lukewarm water

- If machine washing do so on low temperature and on the Delicates or Wool specific settings

- Hang Dry on a solid or chunky hangar, never tumble dry!
